Introduction & Definitions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Signeting platform, website (signeting.com), Chrome browser extension, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by NexString Tech Pvt Ltd, a company registered in India.
By creating an account, installing our Chrome extension, or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Beta Status
Signeting is currently in public beta. By using the Service during the beta period, you acknowledge that:
- Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice
- The Service may contain bugs or incomplete functionality
- We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or continuity of any specific feature
- The beta period may end or the Service may be discontinued at any time
When the beta ends, updated Terms will be issued with reasonable notice. We will always give registered users advance notice before making changes that materially affect their use of the Service.
Account Registration & Security
Creating Your Account
You must be at least 16 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. Registration is via Google Sign-In (OAuth) — we receive only your name, email address, and profile picture for authentication purposes. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account and any access credentials
- Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
- Report any unauthorized access or suspected security breach promptly to support@signeting.com
One account per person. You may not share account access with others or create accounts on behalf of others without authorization.
How the Service Works
Web Platform
Design, customize, and manage email signatures on the Signeting web platform. Assets (images, logos) are stored on Cloudflare R2 and served via CDN.
Copy-Paste Method
Copy your finished signature from the platform and paste it into your email client's signature settings. We do not access your email client during this process.
Chrome Extension
The Signeting Chrome extension inserts your signature HTML into the Gmail compose window using DOM injection. It does NOT access your email content, subject lines, recipients, or attachments. It does NOT read or transmit any Gmail data to our servers. It communicates with Signeting's servers only to fetch your pre-built signature.
Signature Analytics (Optional)
You may optionally enable link tracking within your signatures to monitor click and engagement data. This feature is opt-in and clearly disclosed before activation. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all Content you upload or create through the Service, including logos, images, headshots, and signature designs. NexString Tech Pvt Ltd does not claim ownership of your Content.
Licence You Grant Us
By uploading or creating Content on the Service, you grant NexString Tech Pvt Ltd a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and transmit your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you. This licence terminates when you delete your Content or close your account.
Content Standards — Your Content Must NOT
- Contain or link to malware, viruses, phishing pages, or other harmful code
- Impersonate any person, company, or organization
- Include illegal, defamatory, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory material
- Violate any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- Contain misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent claims
- Promote illegal products, services, or activities
Anti-Spam: You must not use Signatures created with Signeting in unsolicited bulk or commercial email (spam). Your use must comply with CAN-SPAM (US), GDPR (EU/UK), and CASL (Canada).
Signeting's Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Service — including the Platform, Extension, templates, design elements, software, code, trademarks, logos, and documentation — are and remain the exclusive property of NexString Tech Pvt Ltd or its licensors.
These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service as described herein. They do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
You May NOT
- Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
Acceptable Use
In addition to the Content standards above, you may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our servers
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract data from the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or connected networks
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service without written permission
- Circumvent any usage limits, rate limits, or technical restrictions
- Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal under applicable law
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization

Subscriptions & Payments
Signeting currently offers a free tier. Paid plans (Pro and Enterprise) are planned but not yet available. We will notify you before charging for any features that were previously free. We will never auto-upgrade you from the free tier.
Free & Paid Plans
Signeting offers a free tier with core functionality. You must affirmatively opt into any paid plan.
Billing & Renewal
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance and auto-renew. We send a reminder at least 7 days before renewal.
Cancellation
Cancel at any time via account settings. Access continues until end of current billing cycle. Cancellation will never be made unreasonably difficult.
Refunds
Full refund within 14 days of initial purchase or renewal. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable except as required by consumer protection law.
Price Changes
At least 30 days' advance notice by email. Price changes apply to the next billing cycle after the notice period.
Subscription Lapse
If your paid plan expires, your account reverts to the free tier. Your Content is retained for at least 90 days before any deletion.
Payments via Stripe: All payment processing is handled by Stripe. NexString Tech Pvt Ltd does not store raw payment card data on our servers. Use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
The Service relies on the following third-party providers:
We are not responsible for outages, errors, or changes to third-party services beyond our control. Links within your Signatures are user-controlled; we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party website you link to.
Privacy & Data
Your privacy matters. Our Privacy Policy explains in detail what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.
- Signeting does not access, read, store, or transmit any Gmail data
- We use Google OAuth solely for authentication (name, email, profile picture)
- The Chrome extension only inserts signature HTML — it does not read or transmit any email data
- We do not sell your personal data
Termination
Termination by You
You may delete your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support@signeting.com. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data and Content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Termination by Signeting
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
- Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal conduct
- Are required to be terminated by law or legal order
Where practicable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy a violation before termination. Upon termination, we will retain your data for up to 30 days to allow data export requests, after which it will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. This disclaimer applies especially during the beta period.
Note: Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties. In such jurisdictions, exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by local law.
Limitation of Liability
NexString Tech Pvt Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Signeting in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 5,000 (approx. USD 60).
Note: Some jurisdictions do not permit limitation of liability for certain damages. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NexString Tech Pvt Ltd and its officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
- Your Content, including any claim that your Content infringes a third party's rights
- Your use of Signatures in violation of applicable anti-spam laws
This indemnification does not extend to claims arising from NexString Tech Pvt Ltd's own negligence or wilful misconduct.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India.
Before filing any formal legal proceeding, you agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting legal@signeting.com. We will try to resolve the matter within 30 days.
Consumer protection note: If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing in this section deprives you of locally applicable protections, and you retain the right to bring claims in your local courts.
Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or feature requests ("Feedback"), you grant NexString Tech Pvt Ltd a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, modify, and incorporate Feedback into the Service without obligation or compensation.
You are never required to provide Feedback.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the version number and "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect
- Post a notice on signeting.com
Continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may delete your account before they take effect.
General Provisions

| Assignment | You may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided the assignee agrees to honor these Terms. |
| Force Majeure | NexString Tech Pvt Ltd is not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, government action, or third-party infrastructure failures. |
| Notices | We will send notices to your registered email address. You are responsible for keeping your email current. Legal notices to us should be sent to legal@signeting.com. |
